Magnesia-Carbon Refractory

Shaped, resin bonded, refractory material that has magnesium oxide (MgO) and carbon (C) as the main component. Magnesia-carbon is a low temperature cure product and is the most important material for steel ladle. Magnesia-carbon is used in ladle, converter and electric arc furnaces due to its very high corrosion resistance and high thermal shock resistance.
