Low density, low thermal conductivity, high thermal shock resistance and high heat storage capacity material used for thermal insulating. Ceramic fiber material can be applied to temperature up to 1600ºC and this maximum use temperature depends on the chemical composition of the fiber. Ceramic fiber can be produced as blanket, module, raw fiber, paper. They are amorphous silica-alumina materials.
